With the end of the year almost upon us, I thought it would be a good idea to spend the next two weeks revisiting the companies that we’ve featured over the past ten months. It should give us a good idea of what the economy looks like for those of you are internship searching. It will also give me some more time to put the final touches on the job search training course that Jason Seiden and I are working on (have I told you about it yet?). If you can’t wait for the next two weeks of posts, you can always visit our internship archives and use the links at the end of each post to navigate your way to each company’s internship listings.
Bliss: Bliss offers internships year round in Publissity, Marketing, and Web.
Current: The online television station is offering Spring 2009 internships in Music, Vanguard Journalism, Infomania Internship, Current Fix, and Programming.
PSFK: The trend watching company most recently posted internships in Editorial and Consultancy on October 22nd.
Honda R&D: The Japanese auto manufacturer has some US based R&D operations, and they take interns and co-ops all year in Design Engineering, Vehicle Research, Materials Research, and Information Systems
MTV Networks: They always have a ton of internships.
archer>malmo: This advertising agency doesn’t list specific internships, but they do have a new Internships page.
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts: To intern at the Four Seasons, you need to contact the individual hotels and resorts about their Internship programs, so there are no listings on the main site.
Facebook: Believe it or not, Facebook is down right now, so I can’t verify that they have internships available, but I can almost be sure that they do.
Navigant Consulting: Navigant still has ads all over O’Hare airport, and they are still looking for interns. They have since moved their Internships page, which you should check out. It will tell you more about their Summer Associates program and which schools they will be visiting in the spring.
LeapFrog: The educational toy company doesn’t seem to be looking for interns right now.
Animal Replacement Technologies: Although they still don’t list internships, Animal Replacement Technologies would still be an amazingly cool place to intern. It might be worth looking at still.
Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises : LEYE’s Internship Program seems to be Summer only, but that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t be thinking about applying already.
NASA: Browsing NASA’s Internships site can still be a little confusing, but there are an amazing number of opportunities in all kinds of space related fields.
Insomniac Games: Insomniac Games will be posting their Summer 2009 Internship opportunities in January.
NBA, WNBA, and NBADL Teams: If you love basketball and are looking for an internship, just subscribe to the RSS feed for internship opportunities with the NBA, WNBA, and NBADL teams. There are a ton of new postings, and the RSS feed will keep you up to date.
