End of the Year Revisiting Part 6 Internships

Posted by Willy Franzen on Tuesday, December 30, 2008

We’ll have a special New Year’s Eve post for you tomorrow, but today the recapping continues. In case you missed them, here are Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 1 of non-profits, and Part 2 of non-profits of our end of the year recap.

DailyCandy: It doesn’t look like DC has any internships available right now.

Pinch Media: Nothing new from Pinch Media either.

thunder::tech: I got a holiday card from thunder::tech for this post. How cool is that? If you have Web Development or Graphic Design skills, then this would be an awesome place to intern in the Spring or Summer.

Atlantic Records: Here’s some info on Atlantic Records’ Spring internships.

VIZ Media: If you love manga and anime, then you definitely want to think about a Spring internship in Editorial, Magazines, or Sales & Marketing with VIZ.

Gilt Groupe: There aren’t any internships posted on the Gilt site, but parent company AlleyCorp has a Fashion Styling Internship posted.

Shazam: Shazam’s website won’t load for us right now, so we don’t know what the deal is.

ShopWiki: No internships with ShopWiki right now.

Adaptive Path: There aren’t any internships currently available with Adaptive Path.

Pierpont Communications: It’s too late for Spring internships with Pierpont, but they typically recruit for Summer internships in February.

Marvel Enterprises: If you have super powers, you should apply for one of the many internships that Marvel has posted right now for the spring.

Vanu: Vanu appears to have one Marketing Analyst Internship available.

Transworld: If you want to intern with one of Transworld’s magazines, your best bet is to contact the magazine individually and see what’s available.

Gawker Media: The deal with Gawker is that they occasionally post internships on their blogs. There’s no rhyme or reason, and it’s not very easy to find information on their internships. The best way to go is to contact them directly and ask.

Stetson: I doubt that you’ll find much on internships with Stetson, but you can always contact them and ask.

Bark Bark: I hate to sound like a broken record, but Bark Bark is another company that you’ll need to ask about their internships because they don’t post them regularly.

SodaHead: Find SodaHead on Twitter if you would like to intern for them.

Meebo: Meebo’s Internships page is “Not Found,” which doesn’t bode well for your hopes of interning with them. Actually, they now list their Internships on their Opportunities page, even though they still have a link to their Internships page. Right now they have opportunities for a Javascript Intern and a Server-Side Intern.

Atlantic League Baseball Teams: Six of the Atlantic League’s teams have internship opportunities available for the 2009 season.

Point Carbon: There don’t appear to be any internships available with PointCarbon right now.
