I’m a sucker for a good design, which is why I spent months perfecting the new design that I launched last Friday on One Day, One Job (a One Day, One Internship version is coming soon). It may not knock your socks off, but, hey, we can’t hire a fancy design firm like Free Association. They’re a Brooklyn, NY based “team of designers, developers, and strategists who are dedicated to brilliance in the digital space.” And brilliance is what they deliver. They’ve worked with Microsoft, MTV, Mint, and more. I’m impressed by their work, and I think that you will be too.
Free Association’s website isn’t loaded with text, but you should really be looking mostly at their work if you want to intern with them. You’ll get an excellent feel for who they are and what they do just by checking out the portfolio links on the left hand sidebar of their website (which also looks great). If you like what you see, then you might want to consider an internship in Design or Digital Marketing with them. You can find the details on their Internships page, and you can apply by sending a resume; URLs of your work with a description of your role in project; hourly, daily, and weekly rates; availability; and contact information to work@thinkfa.com with the subject line: “FA Job: Design Intern” or “FA Job: Digital Marketing Intern” depending on which position you want. I’m assuming the fact that they want your rates means that the internships are paid.
