We’ll be the first to admit that we’ve been slacking off this week. It’s tough finding new companies that offer entry-level jobs and internships every day. It’s even tougher sitting by the pool while you do it on Spring Break – so many distractions. We’ve persevered and ignored the lure of the 80 degree water to bring you IDEO, a great company with quite a few internship opportunities for college students.
Today, we’re going to defer to our post about IDEO on One Day, One Job. We cover all the essentials over there, we’re just talking about entry-level jobs instead of internships. The information should be relatively up to date, despite the fact that we wrote it just under 4 months ago. We’re sure there’s more news about IDEO like the fact that they’re the World’s 5th Most Innovative Company according to Fast Company magazine, but we’ll leave the research up to today.
We will tell you that IDEO currently has internships in Knowledge Sharing, Mechanical Engineering, Interaction Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, and Graphic Design. There is also a general listing for 6-month internships. You can find links to full descriptions of the internships on IDEO’s Careers page. This is an amazing company, and it’s well worth spending a couple hours of your Spring Break researching them. It’s just better that it’s your Spring Break spent researching them, not ours.
