Are you waiting for a cell phone that you can get surgically implanted? If you intern with MobileCrunch, you might be the person who breaks the news on such a product. MobileCrunch is a blog about everything mobile (as in communications devices). They’re an offshoot of CrunchGear, which is an offshoot of TechCrunch, which is one of the most popular blogs on the planet. If you’re always counting the days until you get a free equipment upgrade on your cell plan, MobileCrunch is for you.
MobileCrunch announced on their blog that they were looking for interns last Wednesday, and a little Twitter research showed that applications are already being reviewed. It’s possible that it’s already too late to apply, but we think that you can probably still sneak in an application (these Internet companies move quickly). If you “live and breathe mobile,” it really doesn’t get any better than this. If you’re intrigued, send a cover letter and resume to mobilecrunch@crunchgear.com. You should probably focus on impressing them with your writing and love for mobile, so don’t reuse that cover letter that you used to get the Summer internship that you just finished. TechCrunch does pay their interns and allows them to work remotely during the school year, so we’re hoping that the same is true for MobileCrunch. Everything else that you need to know you can learn by reading MobileCrunch.
