When it comes to company names, I’ve seen a lot of things—all lowercase, weird characters separating two names, all caps, odd uses of numbers, and much more; however, today I’ve come across a first. ‘peeps creative is a company whose name starts with an apostrophe (as you have probably already noticed). It’s pretty unusual, but I guess it’s the kind of thing that you should expect from a creative firm. ‘peeps creative is based in Akron, OH, and they “build meaningful and demonstrably profitable marketing initiatives in the digital and traditional spaces.” They’re all about innovation and spotting trends, as long as it helps them deliver “high-end brand experiences.”
Being creative isn’t easy. You probably know that from the job search. It’s easy to get stuck in a rut and keep looking at the same job boards and applying for jobs at the same kinds of companies. Creative people often do have natural gifts, but a big reason for their ability to come up with new ideas is that they create an environment that breeds creativity. For ‘peeps creative that means using “methods including but not limited to high-minded concepting, creative direction, research, in-house photography, nurturing creative culture, sushi, mind-bending digital development, an almost debilitating attention to detail, content creation, nerf products, video games and real estate.” If that sounds like the perfect environment for you, then you should take a look at internships at ‘peeps creative. Right now they’re looking for interns in Advertising and Design. Their internship posting is pretty harsh, but it’s just making sure that only the right people apply.
